Film Night at The Umbrella: The Wedding Banquet
The Umbrella Film Series screenings with optional dinners are curated by Concord Film Project, which was founded by Dinah Buechner-Vischer, Kim Burns and Kristin Canty to present a wide variety of film masterpieces to highlight different aspects of the cinematic art form with selections from recent film festivals, old favorites, and the hard to find or rarely seen.

Precious and Adored: The Love Letters of Rose Cleveland
WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society invites the public to an in-person talk with author Tilly Laskey about her book Precious and Adored: The Love Letters of Rose Cleveland and Evangeline Simpson Whipple, 1890–1918. The book uncovers the love story between Rose Cleveland, sister of President Grover Cleveland and former White House hostess, and Evangeline Simpson Whipple, a wealthy widow and one-time Wayland, MA resident.
The event takes place Sunday, June 7 from 2–3 PM at the Grout-Heard House, 12 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA. Tickets and information at preciousandadored.eventbrite.com.

ConcordPride Fest 2026 will feature a dynamic series of pride events, entertainment, and activities sponsored by local organizations, offering fun and educational ways to celebrate, learn, and connect together. The festivities will kick off with ConcordPride Fest on Saturday, June 6, 2026—a full day of free, family-friendly events welcoming all members of the community.
