The Umbrella Film Series presents Pride
The Umbrella Film Series screenings with optional dinners are curated by Concord Film Project, which was founded by Dinah Buechner-Vischer, Kim Burns and Kristin Canty to present a wide variety of film masterpieces to highlight different aspects of the cinematic art form with selections from recent film festivals, old favorites, and the hard to find or rarely seen. CFP has strived to present films that are acclaimed in the community of professional cinema, and represent a broad range of themes and cinematic art forms.

Join us at The Umbrella to decorate sunglasses for Pride Month. Materials will be provided for 3D designs on the glasses and for creating sunglass chains with charms. Also, stop by the front lawn to brighten our sidewalk for Pride with chalk art.
Teen Concord Pride Fest Party
Show your true colors at second annual Concord Pride celebration right here at the library! Come and join us from 12:00-3:00 for karaoke, gaming, treats, and more. And don’t forget to make some memories at our Pride photo booth!
Library Ice Cream Truck
Celebrate Pride with free ice cream for the first 200 visitors to the Library! Sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.

Join us for fun activities on the grounds of First Parish (indoors if it rains)! We willl have face painting, big bubble making, and lawn games hosted by local youth groups.

Screening of Gen Silent at First Parish Church
Julie Nowak, the LGBTQIA+ Initiative Coordinator for Springwell, Inc. will be speaking about the movie and lead a discussion after the viewing.
“Will & Harper” Screening at First Parish
The First Parish Diversity Committee will screen the documentary film “Will & Harper” at 7:00 pm in the Parlor. Will Ferrell and his good friend, Harper Steele, who had been the Head Writer on Saturday Night Live, take a 17-day road trip as Harper, who is transitioning to live as a woman, reintroduces herself to the world as her true self. This film is a heartwarming testament to true friendship and love. A brief conversation will follow the showing. Official trailer: LINK

The Concord Pride Committee invites our LGBTQ+ community and allies to an evening of good company, good food, and good ideas. We're asking you to tell us what YOU want to see at ConcordPride '25. Come brainstorm with us Friday, December 20th at Bandoleros Mexican Grill (195 Sudbury Rd, Concord) at 6:00 PM, and connect with your community as we develop our June celebration!
This event is totally free, open invite, and participation is encouraged but not required.
