“Will & Harper” Screening at First Parish
The First Parish Diversity Committee will screen the documentary film “Will & Harper” at 7:00 pm in the Parlor. Will Ferrell and his good friend, Harper Steele, who had been the Head Writer on Saturday Night Live, take a 17-day road trip as Harper, who is transitioning to live as a woman, reintroduces herself to the world as her true self. The Concord Pride Committee invites our LGBTQ+ community and allies to an evening of good company, good food, and good ideas. We're asking you to tell us what YOU want to see at ConcordPride '25. Come brainstorm with us Friday, December 20th at Bandoleros Mexican Grill (195 Sudbury Rd, Concord) at 6:00 PM, and connect with your community as we develop our June celebration!
This event is totally free, open invite, and participation is encouraged but not required.

11:00 am: "Let Me Be All Yours": Queer History in the Hub of the Universe.
LGBTQ+ History is as old as the history of Massachusetts itself. Join us as we discuss the lives of queer figures from 19th- 20th century Boston area and beyond.
2:00 pm: "In Their Scarlet Letters: Gender and Sexuality at the Wayside"
Letters and other records can tell us a lot about the people of the past. Join us as we re-examine the lives and loves of the Alcotts, Hawthornes, and their social circles.
